Join us for a morning of exploration and discovery for British Science Week 2018.

Learn how the Bridgewater Canal is a place of dreams and invention, a place that became a gateway to the rest of the world.  

Get up close to the world’s very first and only working LEGO model of the engineering masterpiece that is Barton Swing Aqueduct. Take modelling one step further in our LEGO stop-motion animation workshop where you can create your very own way of transporting things along the canal – all you need is your imagination!

You can also work with artist Joe Ford on the magical photographic printing process of cyanotype.  Joe will send you out on a small foraging walk around the park and then show you how to develop your own images onto a piece of fabric to take home.
